Now and then dragging songs into a playlist—the beta for my next mix.  There’s a fluidity that doesn’t feel like multi-tasking. “An Eagle in Your Mind” is one of those songs that comes on my magic shuffle just when i need it most.  I love it so much but strangely enough I never think to put it on manually.  If any band has an automagic vibe to them, Boards of Canada is prolly it.

This weird youtube video I found uses anime and dream-speed editing to bring out the otherworldliness and superhero epic vibe that I always got when I heard it.
