It was more than denial and procrastination and my perennial broke-ness that made me not want to grow up into a financially productive member of society…i was being called to be productive in a different way…to be a channel in the same way that Jose was…to embrace the infinite spiral at the center of my own existence…to cull words not from one, authentic voice within me but from a network of voices.  To realize that what felt like pipe-dreams of an impossible utopia was really the blueprint…that my need to stare at the clouds, my sense that something psychedelic as about to appear in them.  the abundance of rainbows…the feeling that something had changed about the sky…and that i could change it as well…tuned in to a grid radiating with energy…an Alex Grey afterworld.

Reading Arguelles made me realize that many of the things that had seemed like deficiencies and failures were really a call to revolution. It was a liberating feeling—to go from beating yourself up to considering yourself state of the art.  It was the same freedom I felt when I first read the writings of Charles Eisenstein on Reality Sandwich back in the day.  The confirmation then and now was that the inability to function successfully in a sick society meant there was something essentially healthy about me—a desire to connect and create that pulsed in time with the blood in my veins.  I wasn’t crazy; I was alive.  The good times, the bad times—even the pain and uncertainty was a part of it: the Inevitable Oneness that was The Infinite Multiplicity of Universal Love.

The power of the divine feminine is like nature—she loves to hide.  Those of us born under the strange star of the dog daze/gaze know how to bring her out using wheat paste and glitter dusted spray paint.

Kali Yuga entered my sync web last summer, through the portal of a series of syncs involving the Rolling Stones’ famous tongue and lips logo. Although I didn’t know it at the time, it turned out she was an invocation for me to embrace the fierce courage it takes to annihilate one’s enemies: the divine feminine in the form of the devouring mother, creation through destruction, life from death.

I wanted something anti-authority, but I suppose the mouth idea came from when I met Jagger for the first time at the Stones’ offices. I went into this sort of wood-panelled boardroom and there he was. Face to face with him, the first thing you were aware of was the size of his lips and his mouth.

I could FEEL something nagging at the back of my mind, like the pieces of a dream. Only this something wasn’t only appearing in the nighttime theater in my head—it was in the air and in the sky. It started to drive me a little crazy—I was like the Richard Dreyfuss character in Close Encounters of the Third Kind—dogged by an obsession I couldn’t even name.
It was a vision coming in from the periphery— stubbornly interjecting itself despite of logic and sense:  a new era that would begin in earnest precisely on Dec 21, 2012.Could it be that what felt like pipe dream of an impossible utopia was actually a working blueprint?
